The Harvest is Plentiful
“And he said to them, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest.'” – Luke 10:2
Since planting in 2004, Christ Community Church has been committed to enjoying and declaring the wonders of God’s grace in Christ. Our mission is to mobilise disciple makers—multiplying Gospel transformation across generations and locations.
By God’s grace, we’ve sent missionaries to New Zealand, Japan, China, Thailand, Myanmar, India, Turkey, Austria, and France, and helped plant churches in Mackay, Emerald, and Brisbane’s Centenary suburbs.
We invite you to step into a 3-year journey of Gospel transformation; to grow in conviction, character, and competence for a lifetime of ministry—locally and globally.

A 3-Year Shepherding & Equipping Process
Every trainee is coached by a mature Christian of the same gender, focusing on spiritual vitality and Gospel joy. Coaches help trainees grow in conviction, character, and competence—ensuring ministry flows from a life rooted in Christ.
Trainees join a cohort for regular training, shaped by a robust curriculum and responsive to current ministry needs. Theological study is undertaken at Queensland Theological College (QTC), with 8 units over 3 years—equipping trainees to handle God’s Word faithfully.
Ministry experience is central. First-year trainees explore various ministries—evangelism, youth, campus, events, and more. In later years, trainees take on leadership roles, equipping others and contributing to strategic planning.
