Kids

We want to help parents shepherd the hearts of the their children.

Youth

We want to partner with parents to declare the Gospel to their teenagers.

As God enables, we desire our children to continually grow in their enjoyment and declaration of the wonders of God’s grace in Jesus.

To that end we want to acknowledge, equip and hold accountable parents as the primary disciple-makers in their children’s lives as they do life as a family. At the same time each family forms a part of God’s family, the Church. And so the generational, ethnic and socioeconomic diversity of God’s people also plays an important role in the disciple-making of our children. In this way (and in a very real sense) our children have a wonderful collection of “aunts” and “uncles” around and in their lives. Our hope is that each generation would declare the mighty acts of God to the next (Psalm 145:4) in this family context.

During our Sunday service, we have programs for children 6 months to the end of Grade 6. Each of these classes seeks to plant and nourish gospel seeds in the children’s hearts in a safe and nurturing environment. The children learn together about our Saviour Jesus through songs, Bible stories, memory verses, prayer, games and craft.

*Note: Kids’ Church only runs during the school term.

Providing a safe, secure and supportive environment for all and particularly for children and young people to grow, learn and be cared for is a fundamental concern of Christ Community Church. We meet this concern by adhering to our Child Protection Policy, as well as adhering to Safe Ministry guidelines. All our kids and youth leaders hold current Blue Cards and have completed Safe Ministry training.

Seedlings

Seedlings is the kids’ ministry program for our youngest children, around 8 months up to pre-kindy age. We seek to plant gospel seeds through songs, stories, prayer, craft and play! Alongside this, we hope Seedlings offers parents of little ones the opportunity to participate actively in the church service.

When: during the church service on Sundays.

Saplings

Saplings is the kids’ ministry program for our kindy and pre-prep children. We seek to nurture gospel growth through these young children interacting with each other, and their leaders, to see the wonder of Jesus and what it means to belong to him. There’s craft and song, games, Bible stories and prayer. It’s a wonderful opportunity for kids to learn with their friends the good news that Jesus is King and grow in this good news as his precious little people.

When: during the church service on Sundays.

Kids' Church

Kids are full members of the body of Christ and we want Kids’ Church to be a place that helps children grow in knowing, loving and enjoying Jesus more. We pray that God would help us build meaningful relationships with each child, so that we can show them His love, teach them about Him, and encourage them to glorify and enjoy Him for the rest of their lives!

We split these kids into two age groups – one for younger kids (grades 1-3), and one for the older kids (grades 4-6). In this environment, children learn about Jesus through Bible stories, prayer, memory verses, games and craft, and are encouraged to ask questions and be discipled on what it means to live their lives for God.

When: during the church service on Sundays.

Youth

We want to partner with parents to declare the gospel of grace to their teenagers (grades 7-12), creating a welcoming community where they can learn about and follow Jesus. Our hope is to see them know Him, grow to maturity in Him, and find real friendships along the way!

We do life-on-life discipleship with our youth in small groups, where we play games, spend time digging into the Bible, and pray for one another. We also collaborate with other local youth ministries for youth camps and events, and we encourage and equip our youth to serve in church.

When: 9:15am on Sunday, before church.
