Two weeks ago we met the prophet Habakkuk lamenting before God (Habakkuk 1:1-4).

This week we begin a short series on the Old Testament book of Habakkuk. It begins with some of the most challenging words in Scripture:

O LORD, how long shall I cry for help,
and you will not hear?
Or cry to you “Violence!”
and you will not save?
Why do you make me see iniquity,
and why do you idly look at wrong?
